MUSC you still SUCK

Yesterday should have been "answer" day.. Well once again MUSC is fucked up so badly. They forgot to tell us Mr. Man had to be NPO (i'm no dummy though so i kept him that way till i could call and verify).. Well then they tell me to come in early so he wouldn't have to be NPO as long and we get there at 9:30ish.. Get checked in and wait. We get called back they butcher his height and weight (he isn't 35 inches and 30 pounds) and i tell them that but they stand by their readings.. I give up the fight cause well no matter what i said it didn't matter. We get the clear go ahead for the sedation and then we wait some more. I walk back to the waiting room and there are no seats, and people waiting in the hallway.. Like atleast 10 patients in the hallway. It is crazy! So Mr. Man is tired so i strap him in the stroller and start pacing the hallway (which takes 1 minute to do a full "lap").. At 12:10 we finally get called for the echo (over an hour and 45 minutes of pacing).. They give the sedation and it doesn't work. He is drunk, so they give him another med to try to knock him out more.. Well let me give you a hint.. You don't shoot a thing of fluid up a drunk person's nose.. It isn't smart.. So now not only was he drunk but he was PISSED OFF (who can blame him).. They kept giving hope "oh he should be out soon".. I knew he wasn't going to fall asleep.. So we are moved over to "same day" and wait to see the doctor and then get discharged.. Well they tell us (by they i mean the doctors) that they saw he has a very fast heart and that he has an extra current in his heart.. Awesome.. Well not even 10 minutes after leaving us the resident comes back and tells us they think they read someone elses EKG.. AWESOME they don't even know how to read a patients name on something.. So now we get to leave with a holter monitor. It records his heart for 24 hours.. We waited almost an hour for it. Finally it shows up and we can leave. The stupid nurse kept telling me "oh he will fall asleep in the car". Guess what lady.. HE DIDN'T fall asleep untill bed time.. Thank you MUSC for making my son DRUNK and MEAN! He couldn't even walk most of the evening and was so mad! It was horrible. 

So now we have to wait till May 23rd to try again (if you could only hear the sarcasm in my voice).. I have lost 100% trust in this hospital and staff. Now i'm sure there are good doctors there (which cardiology might have but caught a bad moment) and i am sure there are AMAZING nurses there but i never luck out with them for Mr. Man.. Wait i take that back the nurses in Oncology were AMAZINg.. They should teach everyone else how to be a nurse! Show you care a bit and don't get upset at a toddler for reacting the way they do when sedating.

Now we just wait.. I am not holding out any hope for anyone here in Charleston .. They so far suck at MUSC and cause damage not help..
