Well we got a NO CANCER decree ! YAY so excited!
We have learned that Odin is very very unique. His alkaline phosphate and CK (CPK to some) have some kind of hold on each other. The doctors can't figure out why they do but they do. When his CK is elevated his alkaline phosphate is "acceptable" but when his CK drops his alkaline phosphate shoots up. It is why they thought cancer.. It is very weird the doctors haven't ever seen anything like this. Which makes treatment very hard since we have no clue what is going on.
In January we will be having a spine MRI and be admitted to the hospital to triple check to make sure he isn't having a seizure too.. They also want to do a muscle biopsy to see what his muscles look like. I am not sure how i feel about all this. I mean the MRI is "easy" for me. The rest isn't so easy. I am unsure how to go about everything. The bone marrow biopsy and aspirate is making me question stuff even more. I agreed to it and yes it proved no cancer but i still have guilt over it. The neurologist agrees with me and understands why i am now questioning all of this.
We leave on tuesday for AZ for 3 weeks.. I will think about everything and hopefully will have a clear answer of what i should have done to Mr. Man
